In Lapland you can experience twilight or the Polar Night – a time when the sun doesn’t rise above the horizon at all. The Polar Night in Nuorgam lasts for over 50 days – from the end of November through to mid-January (26 November – 16 January). The Polar Night is a twilight time, but the moonlight and glistening white snowscapes together with the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) will light up Lapland’s magnificent snowy nature before your eyes. The Polar Night paints the horizon with spectacular colours and the daily Blue Moment is a stunning experience.
