The Nuorgam region has excellent areas for picking berries and mushrooms from the end of July through to the beginning of September, or until the first night-time frost sets in. The cloudberries ripen and the cloudberry bogs glow orange, followed by the ripening of bilberries and crowberries, which are excellent for making delicious berry juice. The lingonberries mark the end of the berry-picking season. The picking of berries belongs to Everyman’s Rights, i.e. is free of charge. You can choose to have a guide accompany you for an extra fee.
